BTC Education Foundation Scholarship
If you are a current student or applied to BTC and waiting to be accepted, we encourage you to apply below.
Deadline: Applications will be considered at the beginning of each semester. A late application will still be considered but possibly not awarded.
The BTC Education Foundation award amounts will vary per semester. Fund availability will be determined each semester.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be actively enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
- Applicants must be degree-seeking students. Continuing education and non-degree seeking students are not eligible.
- Recipients must be in good standing with the college (ie; academic, attendance, no probationary status, etc.).
- Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Must complete and submit application online.
- Must demonstrate educational and/or financial need

Veronica Hill Mann Memorial Scholarship
The Veronica Hill Mann Memorial Scholarship honors the life, perseverance, and compassionate spirit of a remarkable nurse whose journey embodied dedication and heart. Veronica completed her LPN, RN, and BSN degrees through BTC, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning. Nursing was not simply her career—it was her calling. She believed deeply in the power of education, hard work, and service to others, and she approached each step of her journey with determination and the desire to live life to its fullest.
Veronica was known for always helping others and for caring sincerely about the success of those around her. She encouraged classmates, supported colleagues, and inspired those around her to pursue their goals. Her sense of humor and contagious laughter made her unforgettable, and she often motivated others simply by reminding them to smile and keep going. Veronica lived ‘big’ and her life reflected the belief that it is never too late to chase a dream and that obstacles can be overcome with perseverance and faith in oneself.
This scholarship has been established to continue Veronica’s legacy by supporting nursing students. The objective is to ease financial barriers and empower students to succeed and reach for their dreams, no matter their stage in life—just as Veronica did. Through this scholarship, her compassion, determination, and belief in others will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of future nurses. Scholarship recipients are enrolled in any BTC nursing program and demonstrate financial need.
